Mary J. Bossung began as the Foundation Director and grant writer for Johnson County Hospital in November 2010. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Public Relations from Northwest Missouri State University in December 2004. She has spent her career working for two non-profit foundations in Seward, Neb. and Lincoln, Neb. She has extensive training in writing and publication design and experience in fundraising, special events, marketing and community relations.

Diane C. Newman has been the Administrator of Johnson County Hospital since May 2002. She received an associate’s degree in healthcare administration, a bachelor’s degree in business and master’s degree in healthcare administration, all from the University of Minnesota. Before she began at JCH she was employed by Rural Health Development, a rural management company, from 1996 to 2002.  During that time she was Administrator of the Plainview Hospital, served as a Regional Management Marketing Director and was the overseer of facility training in western Nebraska. As Administrator of JCH, she is responsible for the general direction and supervisions of hospital operations, financial affairs, nursing, diagnostic and therapeutic patient care services.  She is also directly responsible for maintaining compliance with federal, state and local codes, regulations and ordinances as they apply to hospitals.
